Pork Chops with Wine and Mushroom Sauce
INGREDIENTS:
FFF Pork Loin Chops
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
2 Cups Sliced Mushrooms
White Wine
Flour
DIRECTIONS:
1. Defrost the Pork Chops. Cut away any excess fat and set aside.
2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the trimmings from the Pork Chops. Let them render down for about 5-10 minutes, then remove the trimmings but leave the oil.
3. Season the boneless Pork Loin Chops on all sides and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until they reach an internal temperature of 135°F, then remove.
4. In the same pan, add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their juices. Add about half a Cup of white wine and cook until it's reduced. Stir in a teaspoon of Flour into the sauce to help it thicken, then add back the Pork Chops and cook in the sauce until they reach about 145-150 degrees F internal.Â
5. Serve the pork chops with the mushroom sauce and your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
