Crock Pot Pulled Pork Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
1 FFF Pork Shoulder Roast
4 Cloves Garlic
1 Tablespoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Pepper
1/2 Cup Water or Stock
1 Cup your favorite BBQ Sauce

Optional:
1/4 Brown Sugar
2 Teaspoons Paprika or Chili Powder
1/4 Cup Worcestershire Sauce

DIRECTIONS:
1. Defrost the Roast. Once defrosted, cover on all sides with the salt, pepper, and garlic (and any of the optional seasonings).
2. Heat up a pan with a little bit of oil and sear the roast on all sides. Once browned, place the roast in your Crock Pot.
3. Add your water/stock and optional Worcestershire Sauce to the same pan and deglaze on medium heat.
4. Once the pan has been deglazed, add all the liquid to the crock pot, along with your BBQ Sauce.
5. Turn your Crock Pot to Medium heat, and let cook for at least 4 hours, or until fork tender.
6. Turn off the Crock Pot and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before shredding.
7. Once you are ready to eat, finish shredding, serve and Enjoy!
