Beef Chili Recipe

Beef Chili Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
1 lb FFF Ground Beef
1 Can Black Beans (Or 1 Cup Dry Beans)
1 Can Pinto Beans (Or 1 Cup Dry Beans)
1/2 Chopped Onion
1 Can Small Diced Tomatoes (or 4 Diced Fresh Tomatoes)
1 Tablespoon Tomato Paste
1 Tablespoon Chili powder
1 Teaspoon Cumin
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 Beer or Cider
1-2 Cups Broth (Optional)
Cayenne pepper to taste (optional)

Toppings:
Parsley
Cheese
Sour Cream/Yoghurt

DIRECTIONS:
1. If using dry beans, soak in water overnight the night before.
2. Defrost your Ground Beef. Heat a pot on medium heat, then brown the Ground Beef.
3. Once browned, add in the Onion and Tomato Paste and cook for 2-3 minutes. Next add your Tomatoes, Beans and Spices and stir until fully incorporated.
4. Add the Beer/Cider (If you like a sweeter chili, use a Cider. If you prefer a more savory chili, use Beer). Add in the Broth, using more for a soupier chili and less for a heartier chili, whichever you prefer!
5. Let simmer for at least 2 hours to develop all the flavors.
6. When ready to eat, serve, add your toppings and Enjoy!
